Privacy Policy

Account information. Your email address and password. Passwords are handled entirely by our authentication provider, Supabase — we never see or store your raw password. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the basic profile information those providers share with us (typically your name and email).

Profile information. Your display name and initials, and preferences you set — theme, time format, reminder lead time, calendar connection toggles, and subscription status.

Your content. The tasks and appointments you create, and the messages you send to MabelAI in chat, along with MabelAI's replies.

Voice, location, and photos (only when you use them). If you start a voice conversation, your microphone audio is streamed in real time to Google's Gemini service to produce MabelAI's spoken replies; we don't keep the audio recording. If you let MabelAI use your location (for example, to estimate drive time to an appointment), your device's coordinates are used for that request and shared with Google Maps services to calculate the route. If you attach a photo in chat, it is sent to Gemini so MabelAI can read it. You can decline the microphone, location, and photo permissions and keep using the rest of the app.

AI-generated memory. To help MabelAI stay useful over time, we store short summaries of your activity and notes MabelAI derives about your patterns and preferences. These are generated from your own content — never from outside sources.

Calendar connections. If you choose to connect Google Calendar or Apple Calendar, we access only the calendar data needed to keep your schedule in sync.

Device and usage data. Standard technical data your device sends as part of normal use — things like IP address, browser or device type, and app version — plus how you use the app (pages and features used, crashes and errors). We link this usage and error data to a random account identifier, never to your name or email.

We don't collect payment card details ourselves. If paid subscriptions become available, billing will be handled by a third-party payment processor, who collects that information directly.

• To operate the Service — create and secure your account, sync your tasks and appointments, and keep your chat history so MabelAI can pick up where you left off.
• To power MabelAI's assistant — your messages, and the schedule or task context relevant to what you asked, are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate MabelAI's responses. See "AI Processing" below.
• To send reminders — if you enable notifications, your reminder lead-time preference is used to remind you about upcoming events.
• To improve MabelAI — understanding what's working and fixing what isn't. We use PostHog for product analytics and Sentry for crash and error reporting. We don't use advertising trackers, we don't sell your data, and we don't record your screen.

MabelAI's chat assistant is powered by Google's Gemini API. When you message MabelAI, the text of your message — along with the schedule and task context needed to answer it — is sent to Google for processing, and Google returns a response. Google acts as our data processor for this purpose; your data is subject to Google's own API terms and privacy commitments in addition to this policy. We don't sell this data to Google or anyone else, and we don't use it for anything unrelated to operating MabelAI.

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run MabelAI:

• PostHog — product analytics (feature usage and page views), tied to a random account identifier.
• Sentry — crash and error reporting, so we can fix bugs.
• Google Maps Platform — drive-time and address lookups for commute reminders.
• Supabase — our database and authentication provider. It stores your account credentials (encrypted), tasks, appointments, chat history, and profile data.
• Cloudflare — hosts the Service and delivers the app to your device.
• Google / Apple — if you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, they authenticate you and share the basic profile information you authorize.

These providers only receive what they need to do their job and aren't permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

MabelAI uses local storage on your device — not third-party ad-tracking cookies — to keep you signed in between visits, remember an in-progress chat message you haven't sent yet, and remember display preferences like theme and time format. This data stays on your device.

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently delete your tasks, appointments, chat history, and profile — see "Your Choices & Rights" below. Deletion is immediate and can't be undone.

• Access & correction — view and edit your tasks, appointments, and profile information directly in the app at any time.
• Deletion — permanently delete your account and all associated data from Profile → Other → Delete Account. This action is irreversible.
• Anything else — for a request we haven't covered here, such as a copy of your data, email us at Support@MabelAi.Online.

MabelAI is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on our database. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

MabelAI is operated from the United States. If you use MabelAI from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

We may update this Privacy Policy as MabelAI evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above; continued use of MabelAI after changes means you accept the updated policy.
